Brand Name
The Name
In all written communication, Nurama follows standard sentence and title case. This ensures the brand is treated with the same prominence as the quality of our work.
In Text: Always capitalize the first letter (e.g., "Powered by Nurama"). In Headings: Even in titles, the name remains capitalized.
The Wordmark
The only exception to the capitalization rule is the official wordmark logo.
The wordmark is always rendered in all lowercase (nurama). Note that it is only considered a wordmark when using our specific brand typeface. If the brand name appears in a standard system font or within a paragraph, it must be capitalized as Nurama.
Usage Examples
Correct:
- Nurama
- Built with Nurama
- The Nurama platform
Incorrect:
- nurama (in plain text)
- NURAMA
- nuRama
- Nu-rama
Pronunciation
Nurama is pronounced: new-rah-mah (/ˈnjuː.rɑː.mə/)
Capitalization Exceptions
Nurama should always be capitalized in text, except when required by external technical constraints such as:
- URLs (e.g., https://www.google.com/search?q=nurama.com)
- File paths
- Code identifiers
Feature Naming
Feature and space names should prioritize clarity and longevity. Use simple, descriptive language and avoid slang, puns, or trend-based terminology. Names should feel neutral and professional.
Examples:
- Creator Space
- Reviewer Space
- Version History
- Comment Threads
Short References
On first mention, use Nurama in full. On subsequent mentions, it is acceptable to refer to:
- the platform
- the product
Avoid informal abbreviations or internal shorthand in public-facing content.
